The start of 2012 has brought with it a new Head Professional at Morriston Golf Club. The one time Assistant Professional, Matthew Hollis, is delighted to return to the club in his new role.
Since becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional at Morriston G.C. in 2006 Matthew has gained a wealth of experience in the golf industry working at Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club and more recently at Garnant Golf Club.
Matthew enjoys all aspects of being a Club Professional from offering a well stocked shop and professional repair service to encouraging more golfers to the game and the club through his tuition packages and personable approach.
Also working in the Professional Shop, Alex Evans is currently in the 2nd year of his PGA training. As an amateur golfer Alex has grown up at Morriston Golf Club and achieved a handicap of 2 representing Morriston G.C. and Glamorgan County under 18’s on the way to turning Professional in 2011.
