All at Morriston Golf Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of James Frazer as our new head professional.
A former player at the club and part of our successful Junior section of the early part of this century, James joins us on 10th April from his current position at Machynys.
James represented Wales from 2008-2012 and achieved 42nd place in the amateur golf ranking. He has since played on the European Challenge Tour and PGA EuroPro tour.
Upon his appointment, James said, “I am pleased to join Morriston Golf Club as the new Head Professional.
“I spent many happy years as a junior here and it’s great to be back. I look forward to promoting the club to new and existing members whilst working with the board to help provide new and exciting opportunities.
“I will continue to play competitively, which will aid the promotion of the club, and I appreciate the support from the board in allowing me to do so. It is excellent that our goals are aligned.
“This is a new challenge for me, one I am very excited about as I believe this will help me progress as a Golf Professional both on and off the golf course.
“I look forward to seeing you all over the coming weeks.”
