Morriston Golf has a number of teams and internal societies to suit golfers of all ages and standards.
The Club’s Men’s 1st and 2nd teams play in the Glamorgan County League. The Quartz team (handicaps 10-17) and the Stones team (handicaps 18+) play in local leagues.
Men’s competitions are played on Saturdays through the golf season with a few also played on Sundays. Out of the main golf season winter leagues are played internally on Saturdays and Sunday.
The Men’s Senior section, for players over 55 play internal competitions and also matches against other clubs. Throughout the summer they also organize away days.
The Ladies section also have two teams that play in the Glamorgan County League as well as friendly matches against other clubs. The Ladies play their competitions on Tuesdays when they have priority on the course, after which they hold a social evening at the Club. Away Days are also arranged to visit other Clubs.
The Junior team competes in the Glamorgan County League and the section also play competitions during the season. Junior coaching is held on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
In the Club there are several other informal societies that hold their own competitions and arrange golf trips.
Whatever your standard of golf the Club has groups that will help you to get more enjoyment and satisfaction from the game.
