WELCOME

Established in 1909 and located on the present site since 1920, the course was designed by Morriston’s first golf professional  - Mr Fernie.

The Club offers a very warm welcome and is renowned for its friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Situated just a mile from junction 46 of the M4 Morriston is the perfect location for any visiting golfers and societies.

Although Morriston’s yardage may seem short at 5708 yards, its small, fast, undulating greens are always in exceptional condition.

The tree lined fairways provide an excellent challenge for golfers of all abilities and ages with several tight driving holes. It offers a good but fair test.

The signature hole (15th) is a superb par 3 measuring over 160 yards where you have to negotiate an alleyway of trees over water to a fast, sloping green. It’s a great test towards the end of an enjoyable round.

The Clubhouse welcomes you back for a well earned refreshment or top class, well priced meal where again you will enjoy your day at Morriston further.

We also have a great legacy of team golf with previous 1st team wins in Welsh team championships and in recent years the juniors winning the National Championships beating the likes of Celtic Manor.
